Dragone MTL Flail Mowers

      

Flail mower for grass areas and scrub land. Standard forged hammer flails give an excellent finish to grass but have sufficient weight to tackle heavier growth on scrub land. Heavy duty gearbox with built-in over-run clutch. 3 transmission belts. Rear roller (adjustable for height of cut) and side skids. Rotor bearings protected inside rotor. Mulching bar integrated into hood. Spiral rotor system. Flails are mounted in a spiral around the rotor tube. Smoother drive, less power and a finer finish. Rotor drive shaft is the full width of the rotor - not stubs welded at each end. Hydraulic side shift standard. Manual available.

Heavy duty flail motors suitable for cutting grass and heavy scrub land. All models constructed from 6mm plate with 8mm end plates. VP models have a double skin frame with extra 5mm inner plate. Hydraulic side shift (requires one double acting spool valve). Mechanical side shift on request. Height adjustable roller with greasable and protected internal bearings. Heavy hammer flails fitted as standard. The flail design gives a good finish on fine or rough areas. Integral mulching bar. Roller bearings protected inside rotor Smooth end plate prevents snagging on undergrowth particularly when mowing hedgerows Spiral rotor system smooth drive, low power, finer cut.
